Children’s Church Since we want to be partners with the families in teaching about God to the children and to help them walk in His word, many of the programs adopted at the Children’s Church are geared towards helping parents teach the Bible at home to their children. Therefore, it is very important the parents play their part correctly.
The Children’s church comprises of the following activities.
A Praise and Worship session of about 10 – 15 minutes.
Offering time. This encourages the children to learn to give to the Lord.
A Bible lesson as per the lesson plan for 15 – 20 minutes. For this session, the children will be divided into 2 groups. (Ages 6 and above & below 6).
General things to note related to Children’s Church Activities An Interaction sheet is provided for the children in the Sunday school. This sheet helps the parents provide feedback about the children’s performance throughout the week. Parents will make the necessary entries in the interaction sheet and send it along with their children on the last but one Sunday of the month (Sunday before the last Sunday). Interaction sheets are used by the Sunday School Director to monitor the children’s activities throughout the week.
